Ingredients
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup (1 stick = 114g) butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs, large
- Coarse sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 400F / 200C
- In a sauce pan, heat over medium-high heatwater, sugar milk and butter.
- Once the butter is completely melted, add the flour and mix well.
- Dry the dough on medium heat for about 1-2 min until it does not stick to the edges of the pan
- Remove from heat and transfer the dough to abowl
- Let rest for about 5min
- Add the eggs one by one making sure to fullyincorporate one before adding the next.
- Fill a pipping bag
- Line baking trays with parchment paper.
- Pipe 3cm / 1 ¼ inch diameter disks making surethey are spaced by minimum 2inches from one another
- Sprinkle coarse sugar on top on each choux pastry
- Bake for about 20min
- Let cool
