Chocolate Chips Pecan Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients
- 250g ripe sourdough starter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp (30g) sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg (50g)
- 30g butter, melted
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup pecan pieces
Instructions
- In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda ,salt and sugar together. Add the wet ingredients, the starter, egg, melted butter and milk.
- Mix in the chocolate chips and pecan pieces.
- Let rest at room temperature for 20min.
- Grease and heat over medium heat a large saucepan. Using a ladle, pour pancake batter in the pan. Cook for 3-5min each side or as per desired.
- Serve with maple syrup or any other topping you want.
